Busbars are connecting elements for power transmission that ensure a reliable electrical connection. 

Sefag Components AG manufactures straight, curved, or pre-bent busbars made of copper, aluminum, and brass according to customer requirements. These can take the form of individual busbars, complex busbar systems, or compact busbar packages.

For copper busbars, we use Cu-ETP (formerly: E-Cu58, E-Cu57, E-Cu), Cu-OF, Cu-OFE, Cu-PHC, and Cu-HCP. For aluminum busbars, we use EN AW-6082, EN AW-6060, or EN AW-6101 upon request.

We are certified according to EN 15085 for welded joints in the railroad sector.

Conductor rails are used wherever energy needs to be transported over a certain distance. We design and manufacture customized solutions for your connection needs. Busbars are used in Plant Engineering, as well as in Energy Distribution and Mobility, including:
