Cooling boxes are essential components in power electronics, designed to reduce the operating temperature of electronic parts. They enable the direct water cooling of heat sources, such as semiconductors or power resistors. Made of aluminum, these components are conductive, allowing them to be used simultaneously for cooling the semiconductor and dissipating electrical current.
Depending on the application area and type of semiconductors, different shapes of cooling elements are employed. Cooling boxes offer significant advantages over components cooled by convection (i.e., air). Since heat does not need to be transferred to a separate cooling element for dissipation, our cooling boxes are more energy-efficient, save space, and operate quietly.
Cooling boxes are widely used in power electronics, including in electric drive technology, energy production, and heavy industry.
